Support Hope Through History
The National Museum of Civil War Medicine, like many institutions, has been hit hard by the Coronavirus pandemic. Due to public health statutes, our doors were closed for one hundred days. As a result, we have suffered a $105,000 loss in revenue this year. Admission revenues will continue to be negatively impacted for the foreseeable future.
Our many years of a balanced budget and responsible spending have placed us in a good position to weather this storm. Our team has also applied for and received grants and funding that have helped. While no single grant or donation can close our financial gap, we are confident that by utilizing every available source and continuing to cut expenses we will make up for the shortfall. In this endeavor, you can help.
By donating, you can ensure that our vital message about the origins of emergency medicine in America continues to be heard. Our goal is to raise $25,000. If many of our supporters give a little, it will add up to a lot.
As a registered 501(c)3 non-profit your gift is tax deductible, and you will receive a letter of gratitude acknowledging your generous donation.
We couldn’t do this without you. For your support in these unprecedented times, the Museum staff is personally grateful.
